Crowcombe Cinema is pleased to put on a special show of a film of a play by Alys Metcalf. This is produced by Folio Theatre a Wiltshire based Theatre Company. “Reel Life incorporates subjects of love, loss and loneliness...packing an emotional punch. The play shows us the importance of being, here in the present moment...no matter if we live above or below the surface” At the edge of a remote riverbank, two unlikely strangers meet. Jo, a children’s writer, is teaching herself to fish. Mark, a dryly eccentric recluse, has come to practice his daily Tai Chi.
